Chris did not send me a list of his achievements, but that's just like Chris, so I'm going to share some information that I know about him. Chris races with our very own Team SteelSports, so I am pretty familiar with his skills. He has had a long career in multi-sport activities, such as triathlons, but started adventure racing in 2002 at a SteelSports.net Lake Bistineau Adventure Race. He is a very fast mountain biker. On Team SteelSports, he is our lead guy. He will set the pace on the trails and we will keep up as best we can and try to follow his lines. In Mountain Biking 102, you will get a taste of what he does for us on our team. This part of the class is a hands-on "lab-type" class to help introduce you to the proper techniques for mountain biking. Chris serves our team in other ways, such as usually being the best conditioned racer we have. He trains more than anyone I know! He is also a great teammate. By that, I mean, he will give you the shirt off his back and/or carry your pack. He is always ready to help the team in any way he can. We are thrilled that he races on our team and we are thankful that he has agreed to share some of his knowledge with our Adventure Training Clinic on August 14, 2010. Register today!
