THREE member teams are welcome to come test their skill and endurance in this non-stop adventure race.  Only three-person teams for this race, due to built in equipment rentals!  Team price for this race is $210, if paid by March 26, 2011, or $255 after.

The race will include easy navigation but you will be given a pre-plotted map and need to bring a compass.   Don't worry if you don't know how use it, we'll be glad to help! 

Adventure racing teams are self-sufficient and required to provide their own food and drink on the course.  No assistance is allowed outside of the transition area.

RACE BENEFITING


Schedule: 

  • 7:30 am Pre-Race Meeting
  • 8:00 am Race Start
  • 2:00 pm Race Cut-off (6 hours should be plenty of time)

Approximate Distances:

  • Mountain Biking TBD miles;
  • Trekking TBD miles;
  • Paddling TBD miles;
  • Team Challenges ????

Additional Race Information:

  1. Maps will be pre-plotted with Checkpoint Locations.
  2. Navigation:  Not extremely difficult.  Mostly following trails/roads, but with a little orienteering "special tests".
  3. Canoe Rental is included in your team's race fee!!!
  4. Only 3-person teams allowed to register.  If you regsiter a Solo, or Two-person team, the cost will be the same.
  5. Park Entry costs $1.00 per person.  Each entrant is responsible to pay his/her own way into park.

Race fees include:

  • Race entry
  • Maps,
  • Boat Rental, PFDs and Paddles (1-canoe per team)
  • Race Gear, like T-shirt or Cap (if you meet pre-reg deadline) and swag.

Required Gear List per person:

  • Mountain Bike
  • Mountain Bike helmet
  • Hydration system (camelbak or just a water bottle)

Teams May need:

  • Compass (however, this is not required.  It may make some things easier).

Recommended Items:

  • Trail running shoes;
  • Change of clothes;
  • Light food to keep you going;
  • Blister kit

AWARDS:

  • Divisional Awards for divisions with 5+ teams registered.  Others may be added, but not go three deep.

Teams are encouraged to register now. You may pay later, but must have money in by the pre-registration deadline to be eligible for the pre-registration discount offer.
Additionally, if the race sells out, teams that have not paid may be put on a waiting list, behind teams that have paid.

Cancellation Policy:   

Cancellations on or before Saturday, March 26, 2011 will receive 90% refund.
Cancellations after Saturday, March 26, 2011 will receive 50% refund. Cancellations (or no shows) the week of the event receive 0% refund. We have a VERY generous cancellation policy; however, we will strictly adhere to it. Racers are not officially registered, until we receive payment. No transfer credits for cancellations.
