NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Due to the chip timing logistics and other administrative duties, we will not allow race day registration.
REGISTRATION ENDS: Thursday, February 17, 2011 at midnight.
Racers will run 2 1/2 miles of trails, mountain bike 10 miles, then finish with another 2 1/2 mile trail run.
The course will involve running Loop A twice and mountain biking A, B, C, D loops.
Race Direction: Run A Loop Clockwise, Bike loops Clockwise, Run A loop Counter Clockwise.
This event is for solo male and female racers; however, we do have a relay division and a special "heartbreak" feature explained below.
OPTIONAL -- Special Heartbreak Participants: If you want to "team up" with your loved one, to celebrate this time of year (Valentine's Day), the top three coed couples will receive a special award for having the fastest combined race time.
The couple does not have to stay together. We will simply add each racer's finish time to create the Heartbreak time.
Simply register as normal (solo) and tell us on race day, who your partner is!

Racers are required to have a license from USAT to participate. USAT Licenses are available for purchase before the race starts. One-day license is $10. One year license is $39.

* If we have inclement weather (lightening) and have to cancel the race, we may reschedule the event, or, more likely, give a 50% transfer credit to another event.
TRANSITION AREA:
Blackjack campgrounds. Only racers will be allowed in the Transition area during the race. Racers will enter and leave the TA for each leg through designated areas, during and after the race. Violations may result in disqualification.
AWARDS:
Male and Female Age divisions are in 5-year increments, with the exception of the first and last. 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, ..., 80-84, 85+
Age division awards will only be purchased for age divisions with five or more competitors registered and paid by February 6, 2010.
Relay division (one person runs, the other bikes) will have awards, if there are 5+ teams.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations on or before Saturday, February 05, 2011 will
receive 90% refund.
Cancellations after Saturday, February 05, 2011 will
receive 50% refund. Cancellations (or no shows) the week of the event receive 0% refund. We have a VERY generous cancellation policy; however, we will strictly adhere to it. Racers are not officially registered, until we receive payment. No transfer credits for cancellations.
